I am absolutely not in the state of mind to be doing project work although I’m supposed to. it’s just an urge to write something in this space because my heart has something to say – I highly doubt that I am lucid enough to articulate it but well… meaning will find its way to get across.
let’s keep this short. had a powerful qt last night and it’s still stuck with me. this verse, I hear so often – but somehow it seems distinctively appropriate and relevant to me in this season.
2 Corinthians 10:4-6 Easy-to-Read Version (ERV)
4 The weapons we use are not human ones. Our weapons have power from God and can destroy the enemy’s strong places [strongholds]. We destroy people’s arguments, 5 and we tear down every proud idea that raises itself against the knowledge of God. We also capture every thought and make it give up and obey Christ.
Behind every stronghold is a lie. Behind every lie is a fear. Behind every fear is an idol.
An idol comes into the area of our lives where there is a lack of trust in the divine, ultimate provision of God – so we put our hopes, our security in it. And thoughts start to plague our minds – bringing us to a place of complete confusion and captivity.
I find it so powerful that we have spiritual weapons that can MAKE our wrong thoughts give up and OBEY Christ..
we all have a choice, we all have been given an authority to take hold of our thought-life. “as a man thinks in his heart, so is he”

having full control of one’s mind
I capture every thought. let truth speak louder than every lie. let love overcome every fear. let trust tear down every idol.
(let’s hope I can wake up to finish PW)
and we are more than conquerors through Him who loves us.
